The Young Performing Artist fund provides individuals the opportunity to directly impact the growth of the Twin Cities music community by supporting activities that bring together young people with diverse backgrounds to share in the live music experience.
Through this fund young artists are able to participate in free year round activities offered by Twin Cities Catalyst Music (Catalyst), such as one-on-one mentoring sessions and paid performance opportunities at The Garage and Treasury for a diverse audience of young artists ranging in age, experience, and skills.
It is through these activities that young artists will learn to navigate the music industry as they receive flexible support from Catalyst’s staff to help address any barriers that can inhibit their growth as artists.
